What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

| Bozeman, Montana may not be as cosmopolitan as New York City or Miami, but it has many things within a short walk or ride. Chief of these for us is lodging. For the 21 of us, including 14 Mongols, several hotels were close by. |

| 🏍️ At the time I wrote this zapfic entry, I was under the impression that for overnight stays on long rides it was necessary to find some sort of lodging such as at a hotel or motel. Later I would learn that riders pack some sort of camping gear with them. After discovering that bit of knowledge and others thanks to @notconvined, @crazycowboy, and @ifarmgirl-leo, I can rewrite #GHAWG as a long form story using these insights and knowledge new for me. |

| 🏍️ How many of us have been on tours where we were stuck following a set timetable and a fixed list of sites to see? For most people that's not a concern. Once in a while, it ends up being a waste of time. For the free spirits among us, it's no way to go sight-seeing. 🏍️ From what I gathred during my time viewing the digital maps of Bozeman, Montana, it's a walker's paradise with things for everyone. Compared to many areas in the United States, Bozeman is relatively small. In relation to the rest of Montana, Bozeman is a concentrated population center. |

| We found enough rooms among Super 8, Days Inn, Comfort Inn, the Baymont. Even though I had enough money thanks to the HBD I cashed before my ride, I still needed to watch my spending. Rhonda & I found adjacent rooms at Super 8. |

Given that the riders will be in town for a few days, it makes sense that they would stay in hotels of some sort. 🏍️ This is another instance when the stablecoin HBD comes in handy for David Guardia. Does he convert the HBD to USD? Does he have a card tied to his Hive account? Did he convert the HBD into BTC? Or is he using the HBD in a way not yet envisioned? I leave this to the readers' imaginations. 🏍️ As much as David Guardia and Rhonda Bella seem interested in each other, they aren't at a point where they can share space together. Part of is it the mindset each or both may have at this point in the zapfic serial; part of it is just the situation (especially with David Guardia on a "mission from God"). |

| 🏍️ I wanted to give more time to foreign exchange students Sanjay and Lionel and the Brothers Marchenko, even if they don't have spoken lines. As the riders travel south from Oregon down to San Diego, California, US, all four will have greater visibility. 🏍️ Rhonda Bella knows enough about cryptocurrency to stack ETH. Perhaps she and David Guardia visited that museum to see if it has any exhibits devoted to cryptocurrency; the zapfic serial does take place a few years from now. |

| As Rhonda & I left the museum a young boy with his parents approached us. "Can my son mount the bike to see what it's like?" I nodded. The tyke needed help mounting the trike; once on it he felt like a king. Rhonda smiled. |

| 🏍️ Before he had his life-changing accident, children tended to shy away from David Guardia, and he from them. After the accident, he seems to present a more positive aura or vibe when around children. This could be something he picked up from the uncanny Manny Rey after his transformation. 🏍️ Many women judge men by how they handle themselves around children: How does he treat those inferior to him? (Children are inferior to adults.) Does the man look like a potential mate? Does the man put on any airs? Rhonda Bella only knows the transformed David Guardia, and she's liking what she has seen thus far. |

| 🏍️ This is a callback to zapfic entry 3 when David Guardia had his Big Wheel as a child only to have it broken by some oaf who wanted to try it out. This time, the situation worked out well for David, the boy, the boy's mother, and even Rhonda Bella. 🏍️ David Guardia is still unsure about how he relates to children, but it's safe to say that he sees that now it goes much better than before his accident. Rhonda liked what she saw from how David treated the boy, and she found his reaction afterward amusing. |

| 🏍️ Rhonda Bella is one tough customer. Then again, that's to be expected after spending much of her adult life as a trucker, both as an employee for a firm and as an independent trucker. As far as David Guardia is concerned, he couldn't have asked for a better flesh-and-blood co-pilot to ride with him. Best of all for David? She found him. 🏍️ "The gentlemanly thing" would have been to come to the assitance of the "damsel in distress." While Rhonda Bella is a skilled fighter, having backup is always a good thing. |

Story Arc So Far
After the sight seeing tour between STURGIS and Yellowstone, including stops at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota and Devils Tower in Wyoming, the combined crew finds itself taking a layover in Bozeman, Montana. It's been a carefree ride for them since they left STURGIS, and they were able to kick back and relax.
The layover in Bozeman also affords David Guardia and Rhonda Bella time to spend with each other. While not exactly in a courtship, they are getting to know each other better by the decisions they make the actions they each take.
Until this point, most of the fighting involved David Guardia. This is the first time we see Rhonda Bella in action.

Next Week
The serial rolls on at LeoThreads where the demonstrator in Portland, Oregon, US eventually allows David Guardia and the riders with him and Harry Hoqualogue to go on their way, but not after he makes a startling revelation.
