How to get a Hive Account

A company's earnings are divided by their total outstanding shares. If a company earns $12 million and has 12 million shares outstanding, the EPS is $1.00. The shares outstanding is usually the average number for the reporting period. Often referred to as the “bottom number” when companies report.
