Boosting Employee Performance

Hello guys, today I am going to discuss something really significant; transforming our working environment into a great one for all. You know, in some cases, some people are simply delivering while others are just making efforts. Well, it is all about the situation my friend.

Just think of it like this: have you ever been in a place where you felt like everything was falling into place? I mean everything was just working itself out and you were on top of the world? That’s what context does. We thrive when the environment around us is aligned with our goals and values.

Now let’s reverse things. Picture yourself being in an unappreciative and incomprehensible location. It is like swimming against the tide isn’t it? No matter how hard you paddle; it seems to be impossible to make any headway. This is what some of our colleagues face each day.

How then, do we come up with a setting that makes everyone give their all? It begins with empathy and understanding. We need to put on others’ shoes so as to see the world from their angle. When we take time and listen to what each other has to say about our experiences, something interesting happens.

Communication is an equally important factor here. We must be open about what we want and give feedback that will help us improve. It’s like showing them the way forward in life. In order for people to change and perform at the highest level possible they should know what exactly is expected of them and how well they are doing thus far.

And the point is: context does not only refer to events that happen within office walls. It is also shaped by wider cultural and societal contexts. Hence, organizations should create an inclusive environment where all employees can feel accepted and respected.

Simply put, improving employee performance is no rocket science. It is about making conditions so that people feel comfortable working forcefully through their lives. Thus let us get down to work in the workplace so as to make it as good as possible. Trust me, we will benefit from this collectively.
