[Lotte World Park] The largest Seoul amusement park

I remember that in our childhood in our city there was a small amusement park in which all the entertainment could be bypassed in an hour. And when Disney Land was shown on TV, I thought it was a fairy tale.

Arriving in South Korea, everything seemed to me so big and unusual. It's like I'm in a completely different world.

During the Korean language courses, we once visited a local amusement park called Lotte World, translated into Russian by Lotte World. The park belongs to a huge Lotte corporation.

This park was founded in the distant 1989. And six years later he was brought to the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest indoor amusement park.

The total area of the park is more than 128 thousand square meters, and the area of all buildings of the park exceeds 581 thousand square meters. To build such a fairy-tale world, a paradise for children and adults, the Lotte company spent 1 billion US dollars.

In the park there is no empty. And on weekends here and not pushed through. On the most popular attractions you can stand in line for more than 2 hours. Fortunately, most of the attractions have a queue booking system. At the entrance to the attraction are special vending machines, in which you can take a ticket. The ticket says the time to go to the attraction.

In the year, the Lotte Wold amusement park is visited by more than 6 million people, and many of them are foreigners.

The park hosts various festivals and performances. For example, every day there is a parade. This is something like a musical show in which cartoon characters and dancers pass through the entire park with a certain number.

The park is divided into internal and external. The indoor or indoor park is called Adventure, and the outer (open-air) is the Magic Island of Magic Island. In total there are 49 different attractions in the park, 3 of which are roller coasters. By the way, the park has a roller coaster in the covered part of the park and on the street. But the queue is equally long, which is on the street that is inside the room.

Parks "Adventure" and "Magic Island" link the inner monorail. This is for those who are tired of walking legs. If you want, you can go through the bridge with your foot.

I've been in this park several times. And as a tourist, and work had to go there. In the park you can just walk, do not necessarily ride all the attractions. And you will not stay hungry here. In the park there is a kitchen for every choice, starting with the most simple stalls with snacks, ending with a restaurant with a buffet.

In the park there is an ice rink, the entrance to which is paid, and tickets are bought separately from the entrance ticket to the park.

Prices for inbound tickets (approximate rate $ 1 = 1065KRW)

The park is open from 9:30 to 23:00 hours a day.

Lotte Wold is located in the ChamSchil district. This area resembles the mini town of Lotte, since there is a Lotte hotel, a large Lotte shopping center, Lotte Wold amusement park, Lotte Kestle residential complex, and recently completed the construction of the highest skyscraper in Korea Lotte World Tower. Next to the skyscraper, another large shopping mall Lotte Tower was built. In general, here you can walk and drink for days, for this you need only a platinum card.

The total height of Lotte World Tower is 555 meters or 123 floors. Just below the Arab Burj Khalifa. In this tower there is a hotel, business offices, a cafe and a Seoul Sky viewing platform, which is located on the 117th floor. The upper floors are occupied by cafes and restaurants with a splendid view of the city. I myself have not yet managed to climb this tower, while I walk only on the lower floors, gaining courage.

Lotte is one of the largest corporations in South Korea. The company develops in a variety of industries, and has long been known in world markets. Many have already tried different sweets and drinks Lotte. In many countries there are hotels Lotte. And in the Asian countries there is a duty free Lotte.

In addition to the Lotte Wold park, there is also Everland Park, which is located in the town of Yonin. Seoul to the park can be reached in 1-2 hours. Personally, I like the park Paris Disney Land. Here, as in Disney Land, in the evening there is a parade, attractions are similar. And the park itself, as a small town. In Everland Park there is a mini-zoo - a safari, as it is called here. But that is another story.
