Clinics or Hospitals in the surroundings : Phone Photography Contest-25

Hi there! Welcome back to my post! I hope that you are doing great. In this post, I shared six photographs of six different clinics/hospitals around me (my place of living)! Let's dive in!

In Oman, the private health sector mostly depends on clinics called Polyclinics. In a polyclinic, there will be one or more GP doctors, one or more dental surgeons, and/or one or more specialists (gynecologists, pediatricians, cardiologists, etc.). A GP is a must in a polyclinic. Most polyclinics also have a dental unit. A hospital setting is different, and the number of hospitals is quite a handful in peripheral towns.

The government hospitals and clinics are also inadequate in most of the town. For some weird reason, the Omani patients don't prefer to go to a Government hospital at first, even though they get free treatment there. The expatriates don't go to a government hospital/clinic due to high treatment costs. As a result, private polyclinics are the first choice for the patients! Let's see the picture of a few polyclinics and a hospital.

Ibri City Polyclinic

My place of work! We have 3 GPs, 2 dental surgeons, and one gynecologist. We also have a visa medical fitness test center.

Al Dhahira polyclinic

Next to our clinic. They have one GP and one dental surgeon (according to the information I have).

Naeem Majan Medical Complex

At least 2 GPs are in this polyclinic. They also have the license to give fitness certificates for visa renewal or new visas.

Al Sulaif Medical Clinic

Run by an Indian doctor!

Aster Hospital, Ibri

One of the branches of the Aster Al Rafah Hospital group in Oman. It is the only multidisciplinary private hospital in my place of living. Hence, they are doing monopoly business :P

Ibri Polyclinic

The only government polyclinic in the area. It has almost all the specialties.

Okay. This is all for now. I hope that you enjoyed my post. Let me know in the comment section if you have any suggestions or questions.

Thanking you
