A Call for a Community Vote on Including Compliments in Every Post for Content Curation in the FreeCompliments Community

Not too long ago, a very intriguing idea was introduced to me by our very own @atma.love. He suggested that we only reward/curate posts which include actual compliments in them! It occurred to me that this is something that can easily be accomplished. It involves adding as little as one extra sentence to whatever post you’re writing, and it serves the purpose of making someone feel better. Note that this only applies to posts, not comments/replies or Threads.

Let’s Put This To a Vote!

In order for a post to be curated and rewarded (with HSBI), should we make it a requirement to include a compliment to someone? If we decide to do this, should we also allow the person to compliment someone outside of Hive (i.e. a friend or family member), provided they show them the compliment that they posted?

Alternatively, should we reduce/minimize our curation and/or rewards to posts that do NOT include a compliment to 0?

I’ll put these questions to a vote in the comment section below and we’ll go with what the community decides.

Conclusion

Let’s see whether the FreeCompliments Community decides to make compliments a requirement for post curation and rewards. Your voice and opinion is very important and does matter, so I hope that you’ll participate in directing this community towards its best path. Thank you in advance for your participation!
