Hello dear friends and fellow artists, I hope you are feeling very well, this Saturday afternoon I began to paint to forget many things, so I chose a Sunflower that is here in my garden as a model. This plant does not stop offering incredible natural spectacles, apart from the fact that it also has some roses as companions, so that the aroma of nature is what is left over in this garden. I will briefly explain step by step how I did it, I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos y colegas artistas, espero que se encuentren muy bien, esta tarde de sábado me puse a pintar para olvidar muchas cosas, así que elegí como modelo un Girasol que hay aquí en mi jardín. Esta planta no deja de ofrecer espectáculos naturales increíbles, a parte de que también tiene como compañeras a unas rosas, de manera que aroma de naturaleza es lo que sobra en este jardín. Explicare brevemente paso a paso como lo hice, espero les guste.

I started making some repairs to the wood, since I had it stored it already had signs of deterioration, so I fixed it and then I painted it with cold paint to cure it, so when it dries it would look like a ready canvas. So you can better absorb the acrylic paint in the brush stroke!
Comencé haciendo unas reparaciones a la madera, como la tenía guardada ya tenía signos de deterioro, así que la arregle y luego la pinté con pintura al frío para curarla, de esta manera al secar quedaría como un lienzo listo. Así puede absorber mejor la pintura acrílica en la pincelada!

In the next step I began to draw the sketch of the sunflower with the pencil, I changed the pencil because in one of them the tip was very dark and I was about to stain the wood so I changed it to a lighter one. When I finished I began to mix the shades of blue, cerulean and ultramarine with a bit of white and thus get all varied to make the sky, which I did not paint uniformly but with spots.
En el siguiente paso comencé a dibujar con el lápiz el boceto del girasol, cambié de lápiz porque en uno de ellos la punta era muy oscura y estuve a punto de manchar la madera así que lo cambié por uno más claro. Al terminar comencé a mezclar los tonos de azules, cerúleo y ultramar con un poco de blanco y así sacar todos variados para hacer el cielo, el cual no lo pinté de manera uniformes sino con manchas.

I began to paint the sunflower by its petals, using for that the cadmium yellow tone, one by one I painted with a first layer that I then gave volume with darker colors to try to paint the shadows between each petals, there are some that they cover others and there a soft shadow is generated that must be painted. For that I used the ocher yellow color mixed with coffee, so I gradually made the shadows.
El girasol comencé a pintarlo por sus pétalos, utilizando para eso el tono amarillo cadmio, uno a uno fui pintando con una primera capa que luego fui dando volumen con colores más oscuros para tratar de pintar las sombras que hay entre cada pétalos, existen unos que cubren a otros y ahí se genera una suave sombra que se debe pintar. Para eso utilicé el color amarillo ocre mezclado con café, así fui poco a poco haciendo las sombras.

Then I went to the center, the place that honors the name of this beautiful flower. The nature design is impressive, this whole area is a spiral of small sunflowers, really beautiful and wonderful. It took me a lot to do this part so I took my time, and with pointillism I was able to make the entire center of the sunflower.
Después fui hacia el centro, el lugar que hace honor al nombre de esta hermosa flor. El diseño de la naturaleza es impresionante, toda esta zona es una espiral de pequeños girasoles, realmente hermoso y maravilloso. Me costó mucho hacer esta parte asi que me tomé mi tiempo, y con el puntillismo pude realizar todo el centro del girasol.

To finish, I painted the stem of the flower and the surrounding leaves with green and various tones. I wanted to make it blurry, but my special brush for that work passed away, so I couldn't do it by any other means.
Para finalizar pinte el tallo de la flor y las hojas del alrededor con color verde y tonos variados, quise hacerlo desenfocado pero mi pincel especial para ese trabjao paso a mejor vida, así que no pude lograrlo por otro medio.
This is how this beautiful Sunflower was finished, I share a little of the nature that is in my house, that little by little more flowers are added, there is nothing more beautiful than the aroma of a beautiful flower. I believe that every cartoonist is connected with Mother Nature, it is impossible to ignore her wonders and have a high sensitivity towards her shapes and colors. Así quedó finalizado este hermoso Girasol, comparto un poco de la naturaleza que hay en mi casa, que poco a poco se van agregando más flores, no hay nada más hermoso que el aroma de hermosa flor. Creo que todo dibujante viene conectado con la Madre Naturaleza, es imposible ignorar sus maravillas y tener una alta sensibilidad hacia sus formas y colores.
