Hive, la Blockchain social como una nueva ágora
Hace rato que no escribo expresamente sobre Hive, y considero que, quienes escribimos sobre Hive, debemos hacerlo más seguido. Básicamente por tres razones, por un lado, hablamos de un protocolo blockchain, es decir, que como desarrollo tecnológico constantemente está actualizándose, otra razón es que cada vez surgen nuevas herramientas y DApps, que cambian el panorama del ecosistema y por otro lado, es que a nivel filosófico cada vez hay nuevos aportes, nuevas ideas o propuestas que deben pensarse.
Desde Humanitas, la concepción que tenemos sobre Hive está volcada en torno a lo humanístico, nuestro modo de entender, pensar y expresar a Hive es siempre teniendo en cuenta el factor humano, y como proyecto que básicamente intenta responder al espíritu de las humanidades digitales, Hive representa eso que subyace al proyecto y a su vez, moldea en cierto sentido el horizonte de posibilidades.
¿Por qué defiendo a Hive como la nueva Ágora?
En el caso de que desconozcas que es un Ágora, en pocas palabras, es el término que utilizaban en la antigua civilización griega para designar a las plazas, a ese espacio abierto donde se solía contemplar el mercado, la cultura, la política, la filosofía, o en otras palabras la vida social del ciudadano.
En torno al ágora solían residir edificios públicos y privados de todo tipo, ¿Acaso Hive no es ese espacio en la web donde podemos encontrar un ecosistema repleto de DApps?
Hive, más allá de su protocolo blockchain es definido por su comunidad, por sus ciudadanos, estos pueden edificar proyectos (edificios), por ejemplo, esta comunidad viene a ser un proyecto que intenta difundir e incentivar el conocimiento humanístico en el entorno web3, aunque, de momento no somos más que una simple stoa (pórtico), donde nos reunimos esa parte de los ciudadanos que nos consideramos humanistas.
Ahora que lo pienso bien, hoy más que nunca seguimos siendo profundamente helenos, quizá no sea casualidad que hoy estén volviendo a recobrar fuerza esas filosofías milenarias como el estoicismo, el epicureísmo y el cinismo. ¿Acaso blockchain no es el intento de recobrar libertad y autonomía comenzando desde lo digital?
El ágora en la antigüedad congregaba básicamente la vida del ciudadano, hoy por hoy, digitalmente hablando Hive nos permite en esencia casi cualquier cosa, desde lo social podemos interactuar, debatir, contrastar ideas y opiniones. Desde lo económico, Blockchain tiene como producto a las criptomonedas y tokens, desde el mercado, podemos encontrar plataformas de intercambio, desde los NFT hasta habilidades y servicios.
En la historia de la humanidad, ha habido hitos importantes, en la antigua Grecia podemos pensar en el paso del mito al logos, hoy, con blockchain considero estamos frente al paso de la centralización a la descentralización, al la verdadera autonomía del ciudadano, moldeando nuevos horizontes políticos y de gobernanza, debatiendo nuevas formas de política entre la Democracia-Plutocracia. Quizá apostando por una suerte de aristocracia participativa- representativa con sentido democrático, o bueno, no sé. Hay cosas que no están aun los suficientemente claras como para arrojar conjeturas y afirmaciones, esto es simplemente una suerte de reflexión que parte de la idea de pensar al Hive como la nueva ágora.
