last week i posted from the new playground swing at the local school, grades 1-7. well the entire outdoor area has been modernized, including the installment of bicycle racks in one corner of the lot. i took this series of shots of the shadows of the virgin racks from different angles before the renovated school had been taken in use. the sun never reaches directly overhead this far north. these shots were taken in july close to noon so the sun was close to the highest it ever gets.
now school is in session and the racks are in full use. i.m sure there are some good shots to be had but the empty rack shadows have a certain charm with the simplicity yet the continuity of line is actually an illusion
