Saludos querida Comunidad. En la costa de Ecuador seguimos en Clases y mi hija mayor ha estado en semana de Evaluaciones y entrega de proyectos, además de eso aquí se celebra la semana de "Yo Leo" para incentivar en los niños la lectura.
Lengua y Literatura, además de tener su respectiva evaluación y entrega de cuaderno y libros al día, tuvo un proyecto, que fue presentar la Obra literaria de Romeo y Julieta. Para esto los niños debían elaborar un Teatro en casa, con la ayuda de sus padres y además recortar los personajes del libro para que fueran usados en el teatro y escribir una historia inventada por ellos, basada en Romeo y Julieta para exponer antes todos.

Greetings dear Community. On the coast of Ecuador we are still in class and my eldest daughter has been in Evaluation week and has been handing in projects, in addition to that here we celebrate the week of "Yo Leo" to encourage children to read.
Language and Literature, as well as having their respective evaluation and handing in of notebooks and books up to date, had a project, which was to present the literary work Romeo and Juliet. For this, the children had to make a theatre at home, with the help of their parents, and also cut out the characters from the book to be used in the theatre and write a story they invented, based on Romeo and Juliet, to present to everyone.

No tenemos un paso a paso de como hicimos el teatro, pero si algo sé, es hacer manualidades y hacer magia con pocos recursos. El teatro debía ser con material reciclado ♻️, así que usé una caja de cartón que tenía y la recorté para hacerla menos alta, abrí espacio para el teatro y también le creé una tarima para que así simulara estar arriba y el público (que no se ve) abajo. Para la cortina usamos un trapo de cocina que justo había comprado en rojo y que no había usado 😂, y mi esposo con un alambre nos ayudó para hacer la cortina del teatro.
Ammy pintó la torre, que fue hecha con el tubo de cartón de un Toallin, también pintó un árbol y todo lo que lleva dentro el teatro, la ayudé con las nubes y estrellas colgantes, usó rocas que tenía de juguetes y las añadió a la obra para darle más realce. Así que terminamos el teatro tarde noche y ella misma escribió su obra.

We don't have a step-by-step of how we made the theatre, but if there's one thing I know, it's how to make crafts and magic with few resources. The theatre had to be made with recycled material ♻️, so I used a cardboard box I had and cut it to make it less high, I opened space for the theatre and I also created a stage so that it simulates being on top and the audience (which can't be seen) below. For the curtain we used a kitchen towel that I had just bought in red and hadn't used 😂, and my husband helped us with a wire to make the theatre curtain.
Ammy painted the tower, which was made with the cardboard tube from a Toallin, she also painted a tree and everything inside the theatre, I helped her with the clouds and hanging stars, she used rocks that she had from toys and added them to the play to make it look even better. So we finished the theatre late at night and she wrote her play herself.
Las fotografías del teatro las tomé en la noche y bueno, terminamos bastante tarde, pero valió la pena. Ella hizo su presentación y sacó 10 de 10 en su proyecto. También pudo presentar los libros y mañana lleva el cuaderno para revisión. Ha Sido una semana de mucha actividad y esto sigue, ya que el año escolar en la costa de Ecuador termina en febrero.

I took the pictures of the theatre in the evening and well, we finished quite late, but it was worth it. She did her presentation and got 10 out of 10 on her project. She was also able to present the books and tomorrow she brings the notebook for revision. It has been a busy week and it continues, as the school year on the coast of Ecuador ends in February.
