Tools and Blacksmiths

Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you had a day that brought some interesting experiences into your life! In this post I would like to write something about an important historical topic and hope you are able to expand your knowledge a bit.

You can see here pictures of a tool for mountaineering which was traditionally created by a blacksmith as well as some artefacts that come from ancient Egypt and these are just a few examples of the creation of tools by the blacksmith. For thousands of years, the forges have created tools with the help of metal that were of great importance for daily life and have helped people to make the daily life easier and a blacksmith traditionally worked with hammer and anvil to create the works and during the Middle Ages, the profession was divided into different branches and during this time the goldsmith, weaponsmith, farrier and more were created and also the repair of the tools was an important task which the blacksmith had to do and it was even a separate name created which was later renamed and the tools of the blacksmith were an important basis for other types of professions and so the forges always had a high demand. Nowadays this work was largely industrialised and many of the old forges were demolished because they no longer followed the industrialisation and it is a pleasure for me to be able to show you traditional tools of the blacksmith.
