This post is not financial advice If you decide to follow what I am doing you do so at your own risk.
A little curation experiment. I do not have any data yet as I just started doing this a couple of days ago.
Basically I am delegating my NEOXAG power to my curation account @curatingunicorn and almost exclusively curating Neoxian content.
I am keeping my voting mana at 85% or higher though I may change that to 92% which seems to be my sweet spot lately for curation.
My goal is to have 100k staked and I am just slightly over 1/4 of that goal right now though I should be closer to 1/3 by the end of the month. I will then look at the numbers and may stretch that goal to 200k, but I am going to wait and see how it goes first.
Ultimately the goal is to earn 100 NEOXAG a day(liquid) through curation and build up from there. I think that will take about 150-300k staked tokens at my rate of curation but I will know more once I get the numbers back from my curation account. It would take half the amount of tokens if I was powering down my earnings but I don't want to do that , at least not yet.
Once I reach the 100k goal I likely will power down but not the full amount of what I earn. This way I have more liquid tokens and am growing my stake.
Yes, I am aware you can also earn tokens by delegating HP but I am stretched a bit thin on that right now as I have some more specific HP goals for 2025. Right now almost half of my HP is delegated which is fine for what I am doing but I really can't add another token to earn through delegations at this point.
Like most of these experiments I am doing it slowly and using post reward value to buy the tokens. This minimizes my out of pocket risk and is what make my brain happy. Though I usually get impatient and buy a little more than I earn but that is also based on calculations of when I will earn it back. Basically if I can, on average, earn the funds spent back in a month or less, I will push and get to my goal faster than just waiting for post payouts. That is my general strategy.
It's what works for me.
