Mentally writing off the drawdown as tuition fees for my crypto education

At some stage of our lives, we must have paid tuition fees or fees for lessons or for some qualification.

The amount of fees depends on where you are and what you study, but it is likely that the fees you paid went to the educational institution and are gone. It is likely to be substantial, and you probably have no choice but to pay them if you wanted the education.

If you are experiencing a painful drawdown from the market crash now, treating them as tuition fees you paid for learning about crypto/blockchain/investing and for dwelling in this market might soothe the pain.

Think about how much you have learned about crypto and investment over the months and years. There must be tons that had been learned. Maybe you have not been taking stock, but it will be pretty substantial if you had been relatively serious with crypto.

For example, you may have learned from other Hivers, Tweets, and YouTubers. You may also learn through experience from actually trading, from taking profits, and from losing trades. Your knowledge about Bitcoin, blockchain technology, NFT, Web3, and macroeconomics should hopefully be there too. The list can go on... But the icing on the cake is the chance of learning and reflecting by posting and curating on Hive.

It is unlikely that you paid any actual tuition fees unless it's for some organized courses.

So why not treat the drawdown you may be experiencing now as tuition fees you paid for crypto education? This could help you alleviate the sense of loss.

You did not lose anything if you gained knowledge, experience, and wisdom about crypto investing.

Indeed, what you learned could make you wiser for your future adventure in this space, and you have a better chance of making better investing decisions later.

When you focus on the education you have gotten, hopefully, the drawdown you experience will be less painful to look at.

And here comes the kicker:

Your investments might still climb back up later.

I don't know about you, but I am mentally writing off the drawdown as tuition fees for my crypto education now.

I am at peace despite the drawdown because it is only fair that I paid for my development and learning.

The knowledge I gain and continue to gain, no one can take away.

P/S: This is not financial advice, and please do your own due diligence.
