Hello, Hivers and Photography Lovers!
Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I went to watch a friend's movie outdoors. The film was being screened in the scope of the International Book Fair that is being held in Caracas. More than the movie itself, what attracted me the most about the plan was that it was in El Laguito, a park in Caracas with an artificial lake, where is nice to walk.
The idea of watching a movie outdoors in that spot seemed great, plus I knew I could take a few pictures of the lake in the evening. The park usually closes in the early afternoon, so it was a nice opportunity.
We arrived a little before the screening time so we could tour the park.
The lake as the best of mirrors offered some very cool reflections.
There were quite a lot of people, not only those who had gone to the fair but also those who were enjoying the nature of the place.
We walked along the shore of the lake and enjoyed the sunset.
On our walk around the lake, we came across this colorful mural with macaws.
From this shore, we could see some of the awnings where there were activities for the fair.
And on the way, we took a few cool pictures of the reflections in the lake.
And although due to the time of day none of the exotic birds that are sometimes seen there were around, Mrs. Goose was there.
And also some ducks. They seemed to pose for people to photograph them 😂.
Except for this one who seemed a bit overheated and was constantly sticking his head in the lake.
We had time to walk around the whole lake.
And when it started to get dark, we went to the place where the screening would be.
When the screening of the movie was over, we took another walk around the park and took a few more pictures.
The place lit up at night had a very cool atmosphere.
And although the movie might not have been what I would have chosen to watch in other circumstances, it was a great way to hang out. And we had a beautiful evening at El Laguito.
