Hi Friends,
Source
Splinterlands has introduced another NEW in the shop and we now have separate rarity draws for gold foiled cards!!! Yes, you heard it right.
Splinterlands has introduced the gold foiled rarity draws in order to facilitate those guys who are specifically looking for gold foiled rewards cards ONLY!!!
Let's see in detail on these as in below section.
As we can see from the above screenshot, in the shop, under Rewards section, along with existing rarity draws and loot chests, we now have the gold foiled rarity draws section which will have solely gold cards and we have separate rarity draws for common, rare, epic and legendary rewards cards.
Let's see see each of these in detail.
Common Rarity Draws:
The common rarity draws will have ONLY the common gold foiled rewards cards and each rarity draw will cost 3500 Glint for First batch of 40 cards.
This means, we can buy a max of 40 common gold foiled cards with 3500 * 40 = 140,000 Glint as part of First batch and when the 40 are utilized, the new batch will have an increased price per rarity draw.
All these gold foiled cards will have an added advantage of earning 10% extra Glint in each battle and I am sure, the hunt for gold foiled cards will be over with these assured rarity draws for gold foiled cards only albeit we have to pay some extra Glint!!!!
Rare Rarity Draws:
The Second Rarity Draw type is the rare category One and these will cost 15000 per each rarity draw and we have a limit of 20 draws from First batch and that means, 15000 * 20 = 300,000 Glint is needed to fully utilize the First batch of 20 cards.
Like common cards, these gold foiled cards will also gives an option to earn 10% extra Glint from ranked battles.
Epic Rarity Draws:
The Epic Ones are something I have explored yet much, the regular foiled Ones I am talking and these gold foiled rarity Ones will be even more costlier as these will cost 125,000 for each of those draws and we have a limit of 10 from each batch.
This means, we can have 10 epic cards from First batch by paying 125,000 * 10 = 1,250,000 Glint.
As with other rarity draws, these cards also enables us to earn 10% extra Glint for each of the gold foiled card used.
I think it will take ages for me if I have to get these gold foiled cards with the amount of Glint of I am earning. The only option is to have more staked SPS in order to earn more Glint and I am in the process of that as I have set a goal of having 80K staked SPS by this year end from my current stake of 65K+ staked SPS.
These are all long term goals and my returns on my blogs these days are far better compared to earlier days and I should be able to achieve this goal and who knows, I can even push it further as Splinterlands is like addiction to me.
Legendary Rarity Draws:
These are like stars for most of us as these Legendary rarity draws will cost 600K for each of those and we have a limit of 4 from each batch.
So, if we want to buy all the gold foiled legendary cards from batch 1, then we need to have 600,000 * 4 = 2,400,000 Glint and I am not sure how many guys will have that much Glint earned per season.
Staking more SPS is the only solution for us to reach these goals of getting these rarity draws and let's start working towards that and do whatever, but stake more SPS!!!!
Sounds very simple, right? Yes, staking is the only solution to earn more Glint.
Saying is easy with regards staking more SPS, but the goals I have set for myself are not that easy to reach as not just SPS, but I have also set goals for Leo and our mother token, Hive as well and somehow, I need to reach those goals of 80K SPS, 12K Hive Power and 15K Leo Power by year end.
Blogging will earn the Hive Power, curation and selling HBD and buying Leo will sort out the Leo Power thing, but SPS, that's the One which requires me playing more modern battles manually in order to earn more SPS and Glint per win in ranked battles and also ensure I use some part of HBD to purchase SPS.
Hmmmm, yep, goals are goals, let's see how much I can reach by the year end.
Thanks guys for all the love, support, comments, I will sign-off now to come back later and wishing you all great Wednesday :)
