Dubai is undoubtedly a very beautiful and gorgeous city and visiting it twice is actually a dream come true. There are a lot of places worth visiting in Dubai so if you are planning to go then you should plan in such as way that you cover most of them in one go. I was in Dubai 1 month back and thus I had the privilege to visit Abu dhabi too. I have included Abu Dhabi in my itinerary because it was just a 2 hour journey from Dubai and it is as beautiful as Dubai. But the thing is you can cover most of the places in Abu Dhabi in one day so we have kept a day tour to Abu dhabi.
We have booked a tour from Klook and the price was around $20 per person including the entry tickets to some places. We have planned just a say before but I got the quick response from the Klook team and it was booked. We have started in the morning 9 AM and the Caravan came to pick us up. We had two options, one big bus and the other caravan. We have chosen Caravan because it will be less crowded. But the problem we faced is that we were the first to get picked and then there were 12 more people were picked up and thus we had to visit all the pick up points which has taken up 1.5 hours of our time. So we have started towards the Abu Dhabi at 10:30 from Dubai. The driver was great and thus we reached our first stop, Ferrari World in like 1.5 hours.
It is actually in the Yas Island (a man made island). Ferrari world is basically fist Ferrari branded theme park in the world. We stopped there for the photo session because it would have taken half day just for visiting this themed park. So we have clicked our photos and then started from there. Not only that Yas Island has 4 theme parks Ferrari World, Waterworld, Warner Bros and SeaWorld. But we mainly visited Ferrai World for the photo as it was unique to see the Ferrari so close.
Since it was inside the Mall we get to see some other items too, like the below picture which was outside a restaurant.
We have stayed in Yas Island for like 20 minutes and then started from there towards Abu dhabi. We reached Abu dhabi in like 30 minutes and then again we have stopped for a Photo Op near the Corniche beach where you can see the full Abu Dhabi. It is one the best beach in Abu Dhabi where the beach was divided for Singles, VIP, Family etc.
Through the Coast line you can see the full Abu Dhabi city and thus it looks great. And it is perfect location for getting your great profile picture. We stopped there for 15 minutes and then went to Heritage Village.
Heritage Village is like a small model of a traditional life of which people used to live in UAE before. It is basically a dessert village setup. It is a great opportunity to learn the history, tradition as well as the culture of that place. The UAE was not that developed in like 60 to 70 years back and thus the whole heritage village just like a replica of that time.
Here we can see what was there clothing, about their boat as the main occupation used to be fishing for them. The Armour to defend themselves and all about the history. It was great knowing about the history and thus it was somewhat relatable to India's history too.
Last but not the least, we have visited the Grand Mosque. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is located in Abu Dhabi, and it is the country's largest mosque as well a it is very beautiful from both inside and outside. In this Mosque people are awe of the architecture's beauty as it was designed and built by people from all over the world.
There is no entry fee but we have to get an entry permit as well as we have to wear dress accordingly to get entry. The structure of the Mosque is such that you have number of tombs visible from outside as well as from inside. The Mosque was built by marbles and thus it took them more than 10 years to build it. It is a grand as the name suggest amd thus you will surely like it.
The inside of the Mosque is as beautiful as the outside. With Chandrlier inside the main tomb as well the carpet in the main hall is quite beautiful too. So yeah it was a great day but the only regret we had is that we could not see the Mosque at night. IA m sure it would have looked surreal at night too.
After that we have started from Abu dhabi and it took us 2.5 hours to reach home mainly because of the traffic as well as we were the last one yo get dropped. That's it from my memorable one day outing in Abu Dhabi.
