Hello splinterlands world!
This is my weekly battle share challenge submission with the theme card Angelic Mandarin.
This week has been very eventful. Splinterland season ended in this week and on 15th September's late night Riftwatcher Gems pack also revealed for presale and sold out within 2 minute. Meanwhile slight SPS price green chart started to up with 0.0893427 USD = 1 SPS. I was ready to welcome Riftwatchers and purchased 100 pack with 10 bonus pack burning 5600.74 SPS and 110 voucher. I have already read one or two post related it's monsters and summoners. Sure I will upgrade one summoner that will from Dragon splinter. Rest I have enough summoner from Promo, Reward, Untamed, Dice and Chaos Legion.
Now let's have a quick review over today's theme card
ANGELIC MANDARIN.
•SPLINTER- Water
•RARITY- Rare
•UNIT- Legion Chaos
•PRICE- $0.19
ABILITY-
This little League monster comes with two special ability.
Triage- always helps back line maonsters with Heal that has taken most damages.
Silence- reduce magic attack of all enemy monsters.
BATTLE RULESET
Only one battle ruleset was applied for this battle in the form of Equalizer
Four Splinter, Fire, Water, Dragon, Death were active for battle and EQUALISER rule was applied for this battle. It was 21 Mana battle ruleset.
TEAM SELECTION AND CARD PLACING
It was just 21 Mana battle game with Equaliser battle ruleset. Before it I like to use Galentius Cube in low Mana battle game but now game strategy has been change specially in low mana battle after the arrival of Doctor Blight few more cards with Affiliation ability, so I have to change my plan. I was using 6 monsters for this battle having Triage, Tank Heal, Strengthen and Cleanse ability. Three card with 3 Mana, one card with 1 mana , one card with 2 mana and one card with 5 mana in the form of Lord Arianthus.
LORD ARIANTHUS
This is my most favourite one traditional Neutral Legendary monster that I use often in low mana battle game. In others world you can say that it is durable card due to its Void, Shield, Magic reflect and Thorn ability. Once heal for this monster be enough to increase the the concern of the opponent's head. It is use as a monster without attack but its utility is great. I placed it at first position. You can see that opponent's Exploding Dwarf and Doctor Blight got damages due to Lord Arianthus.
MERMAID HEALER
It was my second choice due to its Triage and strengthen ability. In low Mana battle ruleset such card always be effective. Combination of Angelic Mandarin and Mermaid HEALER puzzled alot to opponent by Triaging to Pelacor Bandit and Mermaid.
ALBATROSS
Third place was reserved for Albatross in the form of Tank Heal and Flying. This one Mana monster irritated alot to opponent by healing to Lord ARIANTHUS. In Equalizer battle rule set such monster always be tremendous.
ANGELIC MANDARIN
It was today's theme card with effective Range attack and Triage ability. It is an effective monster especially in little ruleset. It was a pre planned battle to use Triage, Cleanse and Tank Heal monster in Equalizer battle rule set while playing with low mana game.
PELACOR BANDIT
In low Mana battle game rule set Pelacor Bandit always prove an useful card with pretty good attack and sneak ability. If I get below 20 Mana battle game, then I like to play with Water are Life splinter. After getting thorn again and again it was Triaging by Mermaid HEALER. It was a great feeling to see the plan succeed.
KELP INITIATE
It was the only monster that keep alive to Lord ARIANTHUS by Cleanse otherwise Doctor Blight's Poison and Affliction would have already been destroyed. Fortunately opponent team was not using any Opportunity or Sneak ability monsters.

DO I USE ANGELIC MANDARIN OFTEN? WHY or WHY NOT?
As far as I understand we cannot execute pre plan and also cannot use particular monster for the battle unless we do not know about the battle rule set about the availability of the spliner and Mana. Angelic Mandarin is my favourite card especially in Little League battle ruleset. It was little Mana battle game and also equaliser rule set , so there was opportunity to use Angelic Mandarin. You can see the battle that this monster survived alot to Mermaid HEALER from blast of Exploding Dwarf by Triaging.
DID MY STRATEGY WORK WELL? WILL I TRY DIFFERENTLY IN NEXT TIME?
No doubt my strategy and plan work well. When I saw it was low mana battle game rule set and equaliser battle ruleset then decided to play with Water splinter. Lord ARIANTHUS has always been my favourite, so I placed it at first position. To backup this monster I placed two Triage monsters including one Tank Heal and to remove negative effects placed one cleanse monster in the form of Kelp INITIATE. This combination puzzled a lot the opponent and my opponent lost all his monster without harming any monster from my side. It was a fantastic battle that I played against #GOLDVANG. This NFT based game always known for unexpected battle ruleset so I will try differently according to the battle rule set in next time.
