Greetings creative friends, I wish you a happy and blessed day together with your loved ones, it's amazing how fast the days go by; soon begins the first semester of the year, meanwhile I continue advancing in my projects of sewing intimate apparel for my family, this time I share with you the elaboration of a crop top embonado that matches a high cut panty, first I made the panty and was not in the plans to make the crop top; while organizing the fabrics I saw that with the leftover scraps I could make the complement of the panty and I got down to work.
When using scraps regularly it is required to make ties and this time was no exception, to assemble the back and front I had to join the pieces of the neck and armhole, the crop top is reversible; one side is unicolor and the back side combines the colors blue-green and white.
Saludos amigos creativos, les deseo un feliz y bendecido dÃa en unión de sus seres queridos, es increÃble lo rápido que avanzan los dÃas; próximamente inicia el primer semestre del año, mientras tanto continuo avanzando en mis proyectos de coser ropa intima para mi familia, en esta ocasión les comparto la elaboración de un crop top embonado que hace juego con una panty corte alto, primero hice la panty y no estaba en los planes hacer el crop top; mientras organizaba las telas vi que con los retazos sobrantes podÃa hacer el complemento de la panty y me puse manos a la obra.
Al usar retazos regularmente se requiere hacer empates y esta vez no fue la excepción, para armar la parte trasera y delantera debà unir las piezas del cuello y sisa, el crop top es reversible; una cara es unicolor y la posterior combina los colores verde azulado y blanco.

The crop top is reversible and you need two back and two front pieces, I started by cutting a front and back piece in teal, for the following pieces, the back is white and the front teal with white; then I pinned and joined the parts together.

El crop top es reversible y se necesitan dos piezas traseras y dos delanteras, inicié cortando una pieza delantera y posterior en color verde azulado, para las siguientes piezas, la parte trasera es de color blanco y el delantero verde azulado con blanco; luego sujeté con alfileres y unà las partes.
I then faced the two front and two back right sides together, pinned and sewed with straight stitch armholes and neckline, then turned to check the seams.

El siguiente paso fue enfrentar por el derecho trasero y delantero, con ayuda de una pinza hice coincidir los hombros, sujeté con alfileres y unà con puntada recta, también cosà el bajo o parte inferior del crop top, dejando ambos costados abiertos.
Once the shoulders and bottom were sewn, I proceeded to close the sides facing right sides together, pinned and sewed all around, leaving an opening of approximately seven (7) centimeters on one side to turn the piece over.
Cosidos los hombros y bajo, procedà a cerrar los costados enfrentando los derechos, sujeté con alfileres y cosà todo el contorno dejando una abertura de aproximadamente siete (7) en uno de los lados para voltear la pieza.
Finally, I carefully flipped the piece over and closed the opening with a hidden stitch, and in just a few steps a nice and comfortable reversible crop top is finished.
Para finalizar volteé la pieza con mucho cuidado y con puntada escondida cerré la abertura, asà y en pocos pasos está terminado un lindo y cómodo crop top reversible.
Crop tops are a very popular garment nowadays, they are comfortable and ideal for tropical climates; in fact in the area where I live the temperature is high and this garment has become one of my favorites; I like to make them with a button-down because all the seams are hidden and at the same time you have two designs in the same garment.
