They have an 11 out of 10

When I discovered what cats really mean to me, I promised myself to have at least one in my life. Currently, I have five: Señor Gato, Pocholo, Kapüy, Rusa and Kirara, as well as three community cats that I feed and that I have also helped and will help if they need it.

For me it is so gratifying to see how grateful and faithful they are, how each one of my cats repays me in their own unique and particular way for taking care of them and feeding them, it is magical to see how each one loves to sleep in a different place somewhere in the house or next to me or my husband, sometimes I wake up and I find myself surrounded, twisted, but happy, because one or more of them have decided to sleep next to me.

I am amused to notice how they do different things to get my attention when it is time to eat. Some of their antics make me laugh, others make me angry, like scratching the mattress with all their might, it's as if they want to finish with it, but finally they achieve their goal, they know how to get away with it; that I get up to feed them.

But one of the things I like the most is to see the places where they choose to sleep and the poses they sometimes adopt, the fact that they value simplicity and that what may be important today is not important tomorrow, they are true masters.

I give them an 11 out of 10 because they are sincere, they accept me as I am, they don't judge me and they let me know when someone comes to the house whether they are trustworthy or not, because sometimes they receive them with affection, and sometimes they hide and don't come out until that person leaves the house.

Another thing I have learned to value is gardening, it is a magnificent activity that allows me to appreciate the fruit of my effort, as I can see that a plant to which I have dedicated time and sometimes some recommended or discovered techniques, is growing and becoming beautiful, giving leaves and growing.

One of the reasons why I think gardening is an 11 out of 10 is that it allows me to completely disconnect from those around me, it relaxes me and I know that sooner or later it will give me something to smile about. Also, as I sometimes carry a photographic record on my mobile phone, because sometimes I share my work on HIVE, I can appreciate how much those plants that I have dedicated time to have grown or changed.

In conclusion, those are two things I give an 11 out of 10, the sincere company of my cats and gardening, so I say goodbye to my participation in the Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 217 Do you like cats and gardening?
