A President a Day

A PRESIDENT a day..png

Ghana is a great country. We had a lot from the start of independence. Dr. Kwame Nkurmah sacrificed a lot for the nation and was alter bot regarded by his people. Since then, we have had many leaders. They have done their part and we commend them for their work. Amongst them all m, the one I miss and wish still was there to do great things is the Late Jerry John Rawlings.

Now back to the contest of the week, a president a day. A president is a selfless leader and never considers what he wants except what the nation he pr she governs wants. There are many responsibilities on the president but what distinguishes a president isn’t the normal duties they have to accomplish but how well will they be able to handle a situation there never planned for.

As a president, the first thing I will do is cut down the salary of the Members of parliament. In my country, from the president to the members of parliament, they don’t buy anything. They are being served as they also serve the people. They pay them huge money to the extent of increasing their salaries by 75%. What do their use their monies for that they keep paying them as much? Teachers who find their ways to classrooms to teach aren’t valued. They buy everything but yet still they are not paid enough. So, the first thing I will do is cut down their salaries including mine and my vice president.

Regions are good to be in a nation. I use the USA as an example. They are called the United States. When you come to Ghana, people still fight for land, what is the importance of the land if the development isn’t coming, they keep diving us to keep us diverse. If we dint stay close, stay close to help one another, there isn’t a way Ghana is going to develop. Adding to what I will do is limit the number of regions in my country to make sure that we coexist enough to help make the nation grow in development.

Lastly, teachers should be given a stand in the economy. Their pay should be enough for them to get home. Teachers in Ghana are mostly in rented houses. They don’t have enough to feed their families. They don’t rely on only that. They add businesses that don’t give them the profit they deserve at the end of the day. Teachers should be respected both in their pay and how we see them.

With what I will do as president, the reasons behind them are, leadership is about serving the people. Adding value to the people who love the country which is the teachers. How can you not respect the one who thought you to be great? We should use money wisely. Not pay people much money that they don’t need them at that period. Give them little and let what they get for free balance it.
This is me as a president for one.
Call me Mr. President.
