Here's pictures taken a few weeks ago (the forest pic) and a month ago (snowy pic) close to our house! And yeah the weather is crazy in Finland this winter...
Very special photos with our dear dog and family member Hessu. He's the happiest when he gets to run wild and free in the forest. He's very active, loving, watching and has a good sense of humor, and is also our D E A R team member in @happychaga.
He came from a puppy factory which of course we didn't know. Why? Because the seller had a great story about mixed puppies that were made "by accident"... And because he's a mix, we never questioned anything. Hessu is a mix of German Kleinspitz and Mittelspitz breeds. We never wanted to take a dog for competitions, so also for that reason breed really didn't matter. We just wanted a cuddly family member.

You should absolutely choose a German Spitz if you want a dog that is: alert, very attached to its owner, funny, fast, watching, best friend, waking you up in the morning with kisses, occasionally annoying with barking and very clever.
Hessu was like a wild animal when we got him, because of his lack of socialization in his birthplace. We had to teach him a lot of social manners, give him self-confidence and looooots of love. He's 3,5 years now and there are still things that he could do better. And we will work on them!
Just a reminder that you as a pet owner choose to have the pet, the pet doesn't choose you. Be always fair and treat your pet like it deserves! :heart_eyes_cat:
