US President Donald Trump sacked Rex Tillerson from his post as US Secretary of State, Wednesday (14/3). The dismissal was somewhat surprising. Because, Tilllerson fired Trump for no apparent reason. In fact, he claimed to only give news by phone.
According to a senior US State Department official, Tillerson had learned of his dismissal via Twitter Trump a few hours earlier. Now the position of US Secretary of State is occupied by former CIA Director Mike Pompeo, and the position of CIA Director is occupied by gina haspel.
