He was not the best dude, but at least he was open about it, and his foreign policy was ok (imo, obviously). I guess that is the tragedy of being a young person. It was Clinton, Bush and Obama who built and funded those horrible immigration holding cells. Donald was merely guilty of not responding to the situation better.

ALEC - The American Legislative Exchange Council was the group which wrote most of this pro-private prison policy. 'Tough on Crime'. Look at their private enterprise board, and recognize the kinds of entities running the ship there. This was AFTER YEARS of controversy, culminating in many former powerful board members, such as Walmart, Corrections Corporation of America (now branded as CoreCivic), Google, etc to drop from their ranks. Many of the bills that pass through congress are directly written by ALEC and their Lawyers. Not by Politicians. Politicians don't know law, they know how to emotionally sway people, through lies or otherwise. Pfizer, even after the controversy in the 90s-00s, remains a top member of ALEC, along with Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline and PhRMA. This world and especially this country doesn't need a vaccine to heal. We need emotional healing. Forgiveness of ourselves and others and a dissolution of the need for superiority complex.
