In an angry tone, the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly described several crimes of the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territories.
He said that the representative of Israel at the conference in St. Petersburg was indecent, and that if he had an atom of dignity he would leave the conference after the audience had discovered the falsity of his intervention.
Al-Ghanim, the representative of the Israeli delegation, said: "You have to carry your bags and get out of the room after I see the reaction of all the honorable parliaments."

Marzouq Al-Ghanem holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Seattle in the United States , and is known for his presence in the political, economic and sports fields.
He was elected as a member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly in 2006 and became its president in 2013. He is a member of the Transitional Arab Parliament and is active in international conferences and seminars.
