It has been a historically awful day in Las Vegas and in our country. As of tonight, the death toll has risen to 59 people with over 500 people hurt. Yet some people have made this political and said some disgusting things on social media today.
And none worse than Hayley Geftman-Gold, a CBS News Executive. She said today that Vegas Victims didn't deserve sympathy because most country fans are Republicans. CBS acted quickly and fired her.
What is this world coming to when people are making horrific comments like this when people are fighting for their lives and dead people are still laying in the streets?
Let’s hope that this nation can come together to mourn this historic last 20 hours.
