Presidents of U.S., China and Russia Concede To Duterte For TIME Magazine's Person Of The Year

IMG_1200.PNG NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) - Presidents Donald Trump of the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, Vladimir Putin of Russia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί and Xi Jinping of China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ have all withdrawn from consideration for TIME Magazine's 2017 Person of the Year.

Although the annual recognition doesn't happen until the end of the year, the three leaders have conceded that no other world leader deserves the title than Philippines πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a recent TIME online poll, Duterte topped the voting way ahead of all other candidates for the magazine's most influential persons of the world.

Even Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Pope Francis and newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron have agreed that TIME should name the very popular Duterte as this year's Person of the Year.

Congratulations to the Philippine President!
