Meeting India and US will be held to discuss the threat of China

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday that there would be a two plus two ministerial meeting between India and the US in New Delhi next week. It will discuss the threats from China. Pompeo said he was confident that next Tuesday's meeting would discuss how we can work together to deal with the threats being spread by the Chinese Communist Party.

Amid deteriorating relations with China on October 27 in New Delhi will host the third Indo-US two-plus two ministerial level discussion. This US-India dialogue is to be held a few weeks before the US presidential elections. Apart from this, the talks are taking place at a time when there is tension between India and China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.
