Have to hand it to the PRC, they as gung ho for high tech. Cannot credibly claim they are misusing it. In Western countries, we have allowed big-tech to collect all nature of data about the populace in order to more efficiently sell products. The PRC uses the same technology to determine which of its citizens need to be punished or designated for re-education camps. Some in the west would be completely fine with doing the same here. This will not end well ... Embrace freedom now or lose it forever.
