A tree may take 80 years to grow. If you plant it you may never sit beneath it, and this makes us disinterested in the here and now as me have selfish and short sighted.
Our ancestors planted the tree and fought to protect it. Our children could have sat beneath and enjoyed that tree but they will never as it dies now, poisoned with political correctness.
There will be no freedom to walk beneath those leafy boughs now, only the harsh and blinding heat of the desert to come.
We must fight to remove the poison of political correctness or we will have to plant another seed that we will never see grow. Assuming we can ever find somewhere safe to plant it after a long walk through the desert.
