A man called the Trinidad Police department to file a complaint on another cop who nearly ran him over in the local Safeway parking lot. While he was giving his complaint to Corporal DelFuentes, (the woman) and Officer Guttierez, the Corporal tells the man to stop video recording her. When he informs her that it is his property and he is going to record, she immediately orders him to take his hands out of his pocket, which he refuses. Having now had her butt entirely hurt, she informs him that if he doesn't take his hands out of his pocket, they will not take his complaint. He says fine and the woman turns her back to this "threat" and begins to leave. The man then demands their name and badge numbers. Having her Ah-thor-a-tay challenged did not sit well with the Corporal who then attacked the man under the guise of officer safety. (although we all know it was to show him who was boss)
After searching him, and stealing his pocket knife, the man demands that they leave his property. (which is his right to do) Still trying to show him who is boss, she completely ignores his demands while he protests that he doesn't want to hear any more out of her mouth. Under Colorado law, this is called trespassing in the 3rd degree. Since she no longer had any valid business on this man's property, she should have left immediately, but she did not.
