Hi there. In this Pokemon TCG Post I cover the top ten most expensive cards from Twilight Masquerade. I make this post in early June 2024 which is about a few weeks after the release of Twilight Masquerade.

Number 10 - Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex
Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex Special Illustration Rare comes in at number ten. The main feature of this card show Ogerpon's Wellspring Mask with Ogerpon there on the left side of the card. Most of the card is blue with a mix of light blue and crystal shapes.
Number 9 - Lana's Aid Special Illustration Rare
At number 9 is the Special Illustration Rare version of Lana's Aid. This card's art has a nice mix of it being colourful, cute and cartoonish. I can definitely see why people like this card enough for it to be in the top 10 in terms of market price for Twilight Masquerade.
Number 8 - Kieran Special Illustration Rare
The Kieran Special Illustration Rare art card is at number eight. This art is quite colourful and the card is quite playable in certain competitive decks. This card does show a nice side of Kieran as Kieran in the video game is shy in the beginning and gets arrogant as his battling skills got better in game.
Number 7 - Gold Buddy Buddy Poffin
Gold Trainer cards typically are priced below Special Illustration Rare cards but this one has a market price that rivals the prices of many Special Illustration Rares. The gold version of Buddy Buddy Poffin has a market price of $42.77 USD. As someone who kind of plays the TCG game I know that Buddy Buddy Poffin is a good card for setting up Basic Pokemon with 70 HP or less to your Bench. There are players who like to "bling out" their deck and use gold version of cards instead of the regular print versions. I guess they are willing to pay 42 USD for one copy of Gold Buddy Buddy Poffin instead of use the regular print at around 2 USD for one copy. I think it is the competitive scene players that are driving the price of this.
Number 6 - Eevee Illustration Rare
In number six we have the beautiful and cute Eevee Illustration Rare art card. The multiple Eevees, colours and details in this full art card makes this card a chase card for many. I am surprised that the market price of this card is not higher. It could be a TCGPlayer thing. I think this card is ranked in the top 5 for Twilight Masquerade.
Number 5 - Teal Mask Ogerpon ex
Teal Mask Ogerpon ex takes the number five spot here. Personally I think the art of the card is kind of meh for a special illustration rare. It just shows the Teal Mask that takes up 60 % of the card with Ogerpon in the background on the right side of the card. I do like the colour green though.
As of June 2024, Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is a highly playable card. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is used with Raging Bolt ex to help set up for big damage knockouts from Raging Bolt's attack.
Number 4 - Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex
Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex Special Illustration Art comes in at number four. This card does have an okay art in my opinion. As this card is a very playable card I think the competitive Pokemon TCG players have driven the price of this card up a fair bit.
Number 3 - Perrin Special Illustration Rare
Perrin Special Illustration Rare card takes the number three spot. This card is quite colourful and has the nice small detail of Hisuian Growlithe in the camera lens reflection.
Number 2 - Carmine Special Illustration Rare
In second place, it goes to the Special Illustration Rare version of Carmine. Carmine in the video game is usually not friendly. In this card she looks more inviting with the food offer. There is also a Waifu factor which makes this card's value higher than it should be.
Some may not agree with Carmine being number two over Perrin. Perrin seems like a better candidate for top Waifu card in this set.
Number 1 - Greninja ex SIR
Greninja ex Special Illustration Rare takes the top spot as the most expensive card from the Twilight Masquerade set. Greninja is a farily popular Pokemon, the card Greninja ex is highly playable and this art looks pretty amazing.
