Pecharunt + Eternatus Cards From Supercharged Breaker

Hi there. Here is another Pokemon TCG post from me. This one is short as there are two featured cards from Supercharged Breaker. These cards will be released in English in the Surging Sparks set this upcoming November 2024. I give my thoughts and reviews on these cards.

Pecharunt

This Pecharunt is not a new card. The original release of this card was as a promotional card for the Shrouded Fable set.

Pecharunt (single prize version) is a Basic 80 HP Dark Pokemon with one retreat cost. The Poison Chain attack requires one Dark Energy and one Colourless Energy. It does 10 damage, makes the opponent's Active Pokemon Poisoned and the target cannot retreat.

Toxic Subjugation is Pecharunt's ability that works while Pecharunt is in the Active Spot. Instead of dealing 10 Poison damage during Pokemon Checkup (between turns), you place 5 more damage counters on top of the 10 Poison damage. This is 6 damage counters from Poison between turns.

This Pecharunt is quite dangerous to deal with in Poison theme decks with Klawf & Brute Bonnet. If you are not careful Poison decks with this can cause damage to your attackers.

Eternatus

This Eternatus is a single prize Basic Dragon card. This Pokemon has 150 HP, two retreat costs, no weakness and two attacks. The first attack of Dynablast has 10 base damage with an extra 80 more damage if the opponent's Active Pokemon is a Pokemon ex card. This attack costs one Dark Energy.

World's End is the second attack from Eternatus. This attacks requires one Fire Energy and two Dark Energy. You do 230 damage if you discard a Stadium card in play. If this is not possible then this attack does nothing. Having a Stadium card in play is not too difficult but meeting the Energy requirements is the toughest part here. A Supporter card like Crispin can help accelerate Energy to Eternatus for the big attack.

I want to like this card but I think it is difficult to make Eternatus a good consistent attacker.
