Three These Things II

i

For three these things forever fleeting,
Love, and time, and beauty,
And their paths ever converging, never meeting;
For their unevenness lie in their pace,

And succinct irregularities in their grace.
Pain, and sorrow, and regret, these be their duty.
Three these things forever unreal,
Three these things forever the thrill.
