I hurt
sadness overwhelms me
restricted movement
unable to see

The pain within
no source found
am I broken
deaf to sound

Numb to the world
mind in overdrive
unable to calm myself
emotional nosedive

I feel trapped
unwanted emotions
senseless feelings
false notions

Unable to speak
words untrue
Forever a prisoner
Never breakthrough

Nothing seems to satisfy
dragging you down
beneath murky waters
we drown
