forever trapped inside curved glass.
proportions all aligned.
hair tussled.
Skin drawn tight under chemical caress.
Showing off your structure.
Puffy lids drawn back.
Milky orbs stare.
When sinew and muscle fade away.
Rictus smile comes out to play.
Jaw set firm against the ages.
While teeth rattle on the floor.
What ghosts lie beneath your twisted boards.
Bats screech, rats leech.
Taking your sanity, turning it to ancient lore.
Bones in basement.
What stories do you tell?
Chewed fingers wave softly from lace veils.
Rictus smiles, cheeks never to swell.
Only in death do we join the great wave.
Rising and falling, twisting through the never.
Is this paradise? or is it purgatory.
I call it both, and neither.
Come dance with us, calls cracked lips.
Olden times are here and now.
You can be one of us.
Just lie down on the floor, and let it slip away.
I found it there.
Broken and dusted,
gasping for air.
Shattered and plastered
with filth and grime,
the rescuing of it
truly sublime.
Intentions..
Once so pure in drive,
abused, misguided
but somehow alive.
Wrapping it delicately
in ribbons and thread,
pocketing it gently..
Home to be fed.
Banquets of trust
and feasts of revival,
nourishing souls
starved for survival.
Given a home
and even a name.
Reassured thoroughly
it was never to blame
for the cruelty of others
and wrongs in the world,
for words spoken harshly,
or lips downward curved.
Slowly and tediously
it flourished and grew,
resembling something
almost fully renewed.
In my warm room,
in silence surround,
it found its own voice
in booming resound.
It thrived and found strength
in its own quiet resolve.
It shifted and shuttered
and began to evolve.
Ferocious and mighty
with lost concept of fear,
it began to consume
all that was near.
The home that restored it,
the soul that showed love,
the solid foundations,
and the moon hung above.
It fed and it fed
until nothing was left
and then with a whimper
it starved cruelly to death.
As darkness flowed and ebbed
into its veins
it was surrounded by stars
and the galaxies that remained.
Gapping maws gnashing
at universe aline.
Tangenting branches
slipping through time.
stars that pulse
collapse and grow
renewal
destruction
is all that is known.
Blinking away the dust of sleep.
Clear vision needed to admire.
Her soul it runs deep.
Pure like water.
To spend today of all days with friends and family.
Or to deny all of this just for me.
It's rather exciting.
Better me and better we.
Lift head high proud Kitten.
Enjoy every moment as best you can.
Let the beast within come without.
Rattle that tuna tin.
For nothing can wound like those close to us.
Filled with bile, filled with puss.
Oftentimes I hear a cuss.
So much fuss.
Let that jolly man go home.
Don't try to pick his bones.
If he leaves a present there.
It's just a reflection, of souls bare.
A shiny box, a precious ribbon.
A perfect partner, a shining kitten.
Laying alone in her cot.
Cool wind blowing, never to Rot.
