I came from the land of the sun
Our surroundings are full of light
So i can see clearly as far as my sight
Making every occasion bright and fun.
The clouds are white, sky is blue
So bright, it outshines the moon
While the birds are singing different tune
And the noise from the street too.
Month of August the rain appeared
Starting to get cool and wet
Difficult to understand which feels best
When the air is dry or cleared.
Season of harvest for some farmers
To harvest enough to sell and to eat
Season for planting for others
They sow plants that doesn't need heat.
This is the sunshine city
We plan to flourish, we plan to strive
We plan to be nourish and we plan to survive
Living by God's grace and mercy.
