Stillwater
Clad in calm
The skin betrays
The still won't spill
My rageful ways
Danger hides
In serene displays
The deep won't keep
The hate away
Tread if you must
But mind your step
Waves forlorn won't warn
Nor reflect
This unknown abyss
You ought respect
Leave me be
Or see my depth
Sometimes, in conflict, it is necessary to flash one's teeth or rattle one's tale. Other times, it is useful to remain innocuous and unassuming. People who underestimate the dangers one hides beneath the surface are bound to find themselves in deep water eventually. Tread lightly, my friends.
