memories of a hot and steaming love
in the spring of life five decades ago

repressing love feeling time and again
with passion raging in their heart

and their devotion crashes on the rocks
because of this violent alcoholic dad
left only memories and photos in a box

so decades pass and then memories revive
of this unforgettable passionate holiday

so after so many years again they meet

with watery eyes and smiles they greet
over coffee talk about their olden highs
