The Princess's Tower

Trapped in a tower no way out.
Told she was a princess but could never live that out.
What she wanted was freedom.
What she wanted was peace.
Her heart longed to be cherished.
Left alone.
So alone.
Heart dashed.
Dreams smashed.
She tried to bare it in silence.
Her heart fell apart in silence.
In her tower broken quite broken.
Not once had she desired to be a princess or spoken.
Trapped caged like a bird.
Her heart trapped and caged.
Afraid to ever trust again.
Afraid to open her heart up again.
Pain and loneliness may bruise her heart again.
She had become a princess in a tower.
Not knowing this. Her heart had trapped her more than any real tower.
