sunsets are beautifully depressing,
just like how you and i are.
perhaps that's why we compliment each other?
perhaps that's why we still stay together?
but words are just words,
and could never fully capture the beauty of a feeling
like how a low-quality camera can't capture the whole essence of a sunset in one shot.
i can only hope that I treat you well,
and we'll be fine one day,
when things aren't so hectic,
when we can finally sit down on the roof together one evening
and enjoy the little things together.
sunsets are a beautiful way to end the day,
knowing that the day after that will still be in our hands,
with me wishing you'd stay with me for another day,
and you taking me with you one step at a time.
