Tasty vegan/vegetarian Pizza

Pizza base

  • 500 g white spelta flour
  • Half table spoon Himalayan (or your favorit) salt
  • Water (as much as needed to mix the dough)

Pizza sauce

  • 200g canned tomatoes in its own juice
  • 1 table spoon tomatoes paste
  • 1 table spoon salt
  • 3 table spoons xylitol or other sweetener
  • half table spoon asafetida powder
  • oinch of cayenne pepper
  • blend it all ingredients
  • some dried oregano

Pizza top

As always you can use ingredients what you like - tomatoes, dried tomatoes, spinach, olives, etc.
Mostly, I use capsicums, sun-dried tomatoes in oil, black and green olives, canned or fresh pineapples.

And most important ingredient in pizza is CHEESE :) If you are 'serious vegan' you can use vegan cheese, but our family don't have allergy for milk or something, and vegan cheese in the shops are not healthy, so we choose high quality vegetarien fermented cheese or mozzarella. So you can choose cheese yourself :)

How to bake a pizza

I recomended to use marble stone, but if you don't have it - invert the baking sheet, grease the sheet with olive oil and hand form a thin pizza base from a peace of dough.
Add tomato souce, add yourre choose ingredients and cheese.
Bake your pizza at highest temperature your oven can get (ideally in a 300 degree oven) and bake for the short time (if you bake in 300 degree baking time will be about 3 minutes).
