The Incredible Terrain in Drumheller Badlands of Alberta

As far as PPG flying, it doesn't get any better than having a great flight out over incredible terrain like the badlands in Alberta.

I live about 1.5hrs driving from here so it fairly easy to get out to this area to enjoy a flight when the conditions are right.

There are a few viewpoints on the upper right that you can drive to and see this scenery as well, but you really can't see a lot of it, since it is such a huge area.

Flying it is awesome however to explore it along the river

There are sections on both side of the river and the whole badlands area goes on what seems forever.

In fact, there are about 200km of river way and side canyons with this badlands terrain to enjoy, so plenty to see for many many flights really.

It wasn't my first time here and certainly won't be my last either.

This area here is around horse thief canyon, which you can drive to a lookout for.

And Orkney lookout is on the other side of the river, in the same area.
