I tested my Nikon D700 with an about 40 years old Nikon 400 mm lens. And it works! Of course, modern lenses have better quality but are expensive to buy. And this old one was in my wardrobe.	Ich testete meine Nikon D700 mit einem ungefähr 40 Jahre alten 400 mm Objektiv. Und es geht! Natürlich haben moderne Objektive eine bessere Qualität, sind aber teuer beim Einkauf. Und dieses alte Objektiv war in meinem Schrank.
I shot this moon today evening in very clear air with open sky and - 1.5°C temperature.	Ich fotografierte den Mond heute Abend in sehr klarer Luft mit offenem Himmel und -1.5°C Temperatur.

The good thing: Every Nikon lens can be connected to every Nikon SLR camera. Even a 40-year-old one.	Die gute Sache: Jedes Nikon Objektiv kann mit jeder Nikon SLR Kamera verbunden werden. Auch ein 40 Jahres altes.
The problem: The modern Nikon D700 cannot work with this lens. Everything has to be done manually.	Das Problem: Die moderne Nikon D700 kann mit diesem Objektiv nicht umgehen. Alles muss manuell gesteuert werden.
The solution:	Die Lösung:
- set Autofocus manually	- Autofokus auf manuell umschalten
- set the aperture manually to whatever you like. I used 5.6.	- stelle eine Blende deiner Wahl manuell ein.
- set the shutter speed to whatever you like. I tried 1/500 s up to 1/1250.	- stelle eine Verschlusszeit deiner Wahl manuell ein.
You have to test it. Try and error till you get a proper result. Here it is.	Du musst es ausprobieren. Versuch und Irrtum bis du ein brauchbares Ergebnis hast.

The photo is cropped, to get the moon a little bit bigger. I will make another moon photo if I find my tripod. :-)
