Robbing The Bee Hive - Australian Landscapes

Something special for you all today! Something most people would not get to see or do!

And that my friends is Robbing A Bee Hive!

Early this morning we robbed our bee hive as it was full to the brim of honey and need to be extracted. It is best to rob a bee hive early in the morning as they are less active and a bit more docile especially when you add a few puffs of smoke to calm them down.

I must admit though I did get stung on my finger today and shit it hurt!

This is our own Australian Honey straight from my back yard and it is sooooo good!

A few Pics for you to take a look at! (16) In total!! Enjoy!

You can see only a small amount at the door of the hive.

The top of the box is taken off and a few more puffs of smoke and you will see why!

Each rack is taken out that the bees build their hive on and where the honey is stored.
