...at Burgers Zoo.
One of the things I love about this zoo is that they have some great indoor sights. Like the Bush, Ocean, Mangroves and the Dessert.
In this post I will focus on the dessert, they have "build" a piece of Northern America dessert here with the climate changes and all. It represents the Sonoradesert en Mojavedesert. The surrounding shots where a bit off here so just a round trough the desert looking at some animals.

First thing I spotted walking in to the "desert" was this vulture sitting just under the roof, these vultures fly free inside the dome.
Next stop was the habitat of the lynx, a nice big piece for two beautiful felines. One was in hiding but the other one was posing like a model for me.
As we where walking further and further in to the desert towards the middle, nice to be "stranded" in this desert where you can see all the edges, the smell told us we where closing in on some Bighorn sheep and some collared peccary's.
The path out of the desert is a tunnel where the nocturnal little animals are displayed and some sights of how a gold or mineral vain would look like. No good shots of the animals in the dark but a nice see trough of a mineral vain.
So this ends the tour trough the "desert", keep an eye out for a walk trough the Bush and a swim in the Ocean.
Have an amazing day!
