Hey Trouble Steemians!
The end of the year is upon us, and we want to relay a HUGE thank you to all who supported us when we were low, who opened up their homes and shared their stories with us. We are grateful for all of the wonderful artistic collaborations we experienced this year and for the love you give us from all over the world! If the success we felt in 2017 was any indication, 2018 is shaping up to be a BIG Trouble year....
Here is our wrap up of some of our favorite memories of 2017 in 12 pictures:
January: This month was dedicated to the shooting of our music video Grand Masquerade at Schloss Schönow with the wonderful director Lara and her team from Kalifilm Productions. The song is dedicated to all the figurative masks people have to wear in their daily lives.
February: We had our first real encounter with Hamburg and were travelling with the two Ryans during our Spring Tour of Grand Masquerade.
March: Our first day in Paris. The beginning of a close relationship! We are looking forward to our days in Paris in 2018!
April: Bologna is one of our favorite cities in Italy. We love playing in the streets and are hoping to set up a theatre show for 2018!
May: The Zusammen Leuchten in Cologne was one of our festival highlights of this year and we are happy to be part of the line up for next year!
June: Innsbruck, the city where SebMad shot the music video to our title song Lose Your Ties. Stay tuned: it will release in February 2018! And Innsbruck watch out - we will be back here in 2018 to play some shows!
July: We visited Strasbourg at least seven times in 2017 and are touched by all the love we received in Alsace! We will return back to you Pearl of Alsace in 2018! Thank you again to all of you for being so welcoming to our group!
August: Within the Potsdamer Schlössernacht we had the opportunity to perform in front one of the most impressive backdrops of this year.
September: Elfia in Arcen was our first Fantasy Festival experience ever. We are looking forward to playing there again in September 2018!
October: London. We had the honour to play one of the last gigs at the beloved Alleycat on Denmark Street before its closing. It reached fame as it was located in Soho, right underneath the fabulous Regent Sound Studios, where the likes of the Rolling Stones, the Kinks and Black Sabbath recorded some of their music.
November: After the rain comes the sun again. Beautiful days we spent in Aix-en-Provence after our van was broken into in Montpellier... And we will return to both in April 2018. Thank you to Marion and her beautiful family to making us feel so loved and at home!
December: Barcelona. We were invited to do a live Stream in front of Gaudi's beautiful Casa Batlló - Gaudí Barcelona and got to explore the inside too! Barcelona we hope to return to you in the spring of next year for more adventures as we fell in love with you and the people we encountered and got to collaborate with!
