Vasant or Basant, as the Hindu calendar calls it, is a delightful and lovely season that spans from March to April. The average temperature is 32°C and the sunlight lingers longer than the darkness. The trees renew themselves by dropping their old leaves and sprouting new ones. The flowers dazzle with their colors and fragrance, inviting butterflies and bees to visit them. The birds fill the air with their melodies and rejoice in the coming of spring.
