This was on Saturday evening, when few of us friends planned a beach evening picnic. The weather is not yet perfect to do outdoor activities, but it is getting better and moreover it's been long that we spent some good time outdoors so we decided to do this. To my surprise there were lot of people on the beach. A week back when I came here for a walk, there were barely few people, the beach was all empty. This week looked like the whole scene changed. I guess everyone is getting bored indoors and with a little drop in the temperature everyone wants to make the most of it.
I made some tea and sandwiches at home and carried it, our other friends also brought something or the other. We carried some board games, mats and chairs and the boys also carried the volleyball set, the volley ball net is missing but somehow they managed to install it.
After a long time I watched sunset while taking a walk at the beach, it felt so good. Normally during the summer time when I go to beach for a walk, I go late in the evening after sunset, and that too for a short time of 20 to 30 minutes. These months from May to September gets extremely boring in the city. As it is Muscat is a small city and sometimes I run out of options of what to do over the weekends. I am an outdoor person, specially over the weekends I need my fresh air outdoor outings and activities.
