Straya gets hot in summer.... and even when its raining... its hot. So round these parts we hit the beach whenever we get the chance, its a nice drive and a great way to cool off :) I especially love when you gte close enough to the beach that you can start smelling the salt in the air and you can feel that pressure drop as well... that sense of being "almost at the beach".
I have always loved the beach, something about its sheer strength and size rolling right out to the ocean... its gets me thinking. I could sit on a beach looking out to sea for hours just contemplating life and all its intricacies. the beach is a good thinking spot for me.
The car is always packed with some goodies and munchies to keep the hunger monsters at bay, they are all kept cool and fresh in the esky (cooler). nothing like cracking a beer and having some snacks on the beach while taking a break form pondering the ponderances of life , lolz.
Though it may seem a barren land as we make our way across the rocks jagged with barnacles to where the waves crash on the rocks, there is always some great wildlife on show if you look hard enough and dont move too suddenly. starfish, anemone, crabs, fish, octopus and much more all there for you to see if you take the time and make the effort to see it.
