The graffitis are present almost everywhere in Athens especially downtown. Sometimes they are real pieces of urban art sometimes they are literally pieces of trash. I am not a great fan of this kind of artistic expression for the simple reason that the owner of the painted wall is not asked about the arbitrary use of his property as a canvas. Nevertheless, the graffitis are de facto the most common activity for any aspiring artist in the city so it is also a source of inspiration for the photographer. This alley, for example, could be insignificant if there weren't some graffitis. I took this photo in 2017 attracted by the composition of the colors the architectural perception of the image and the natural lighting of the moment.
