The graffitis are present almost everywhere in Athens especially downtown. Sometimes they are real pieces of urban art sometimes they are literally pieces of trash. I am not a great fan of this kind of artistic expression for the simple reason that the owner of the painted wall is not asked about the arbitrary use of his property as a canvas. The graffitis are present almost everywhere in Athens especially downtown. Nevertheless, the graffitis are de facto the most common activity for any aspiring artist in the city so it is also a source of inspiration for the photographer. This alley, for example, could be insignificant if there weren't some graffitis. I took this photo in 2017 attracted by the composition of the colors the architectural perception of the image and the natural lighting of the moment. The location is part of the historic center of Athens the famous Plaka. This photo has already published on Instagram. I share this photo with you hoping you like it! Have a nice day!
